Waqas Tahir is founder and CEO of Shelter Rock Certified Public Accountants. Prior to SRCPA, Waqas was a manager at Ernst & Young, a big 4 accounting firm, for over 5 years. His clients ranged in industries from real estate, finance, and technology. Waqas is a licensed CPA in the state of New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Master of Science in Accountancy from the Zicklin School of Business at CUNY Baruch College. Waqas also graduated magna cum laude from CUNY Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
